We celebrated Emilia's second birthday on Saturday with a small party and two of her friends' families. It was so nice to have just a couple of kids there. It was laid back and not too overwhelming for her. This year's party was a "garden party". I made a cupcake floral arrangement and some butterfly and bug cupcakes as well.
We sent our friends home with some buggy cupcakes as well.
Mimi wore her fancy party dress that Grami got for her.
She had a couple of presents to open from her friends and from Aunt Lu and Grami. She was extremely grateful for her gifts and gave nice big hugs!!
She tried her hardest to blow out her candle but needed a little bit of help.
She did not, however, need any help eating her cupcake!!
After she woke up from her nap she opened her presents from us. As you can see, she insisted on continuing to wear her apron that Grami had gotten her.
