Nate is 6 months!!

Nathan turned 6 months old last Saturday! At the pediatrician on Tuesday he weighed 17 lb. 14 oz. and was 26 1/2" long. He is following the 50th percentile growth curve almost exactly from day 1!

We went and got his pictures done today. They turned out sooooooooo well and, like always, we had trouble narrowing down our choices to just a couple of poses. We always end up with WAY too many pictures, but Brian and I both agree that someday, when they are grown, we'll still have all those awesome pictures...totally worth it! Nate sat very well and smiled for all the pictures, even with three outfit changes! I say "sat" because he did really sit up very well independently for a lot of the shots!

This is the now traditional 6-month picture with Brian's HP white hat.
Here they are side-by-side:
A photo shoot wouldn't be complete without Miss Mimi. She was just in a couple of shots, which worked out well because she was more interested in playing at the Duplo table than getting her picture taken! Brian also found her harassing a younger little girl. She was standing way too close saying (loudly), "What's your name?" repeatedly. When she didn't answer she looked at Brian and asked if the little girl could talk. Brian replied, "I don't know. Why don't you tell her your name?" Mimi promptly turned to the little girl (still to close and too loud) and said, "What's my name?"
